SSS has developed a PC based automatic control system(installed at various sites) for electrode movement of Ladle Refining Furnace.

The movement of three electrodes will be controlled independently based on the collective requirement of current, defined in the programme. Based on the field requirement, the computer will select the right amount of current and voltage selection.

Based on the above parameter and in consultation with your experts/consultants, SSS will develop a process control Software for controlling the electrode current and its movements. When given Start command from the computer, the PC will then automatically set the required Current parameters without any operator intervention.
